Most of the predictions in the 2025 AI 2027 scenario from five researchers have already shipped. The 2025–2026 stretch of the scenario — unreliable coding agents, 1M-token context windows, computer-use, Deep Research, Agent-1-class reasoning models — has actually shipped and is in active use. The later acts — Agent-3-class superhuman coders (Q1 2027), Agent-4 alignment failure (Q4 2027), superhuman autonomous researchers — haven't arrived yet, but the cadence of arrivals so far isn't materially off the scenario's curve. A year ago this would have read as science fiction; today it reads more like a calendar.
