In an AI hackathon, telling the AI to just "build it" makes it produce an entire unrelated app or solution. Set the scope and build the single most creative, decisive core feature that answers the assigned problem. Hand an agent the hackathon prompt as-is and it will build absurd apps — a meditherapy app, a Musinsa app. A hackathon is not about inventing a startup but answering the brief, and judges do not expect a full influencer-seeding system to ship; if that were easy the company would already be doing it. So instead of building everything, focus on the core feature.
