Job hunting is quantity over quality, always. A huge volume of applications and practice is what builds the ability to handle any interview situation. Alex applied to around 200 companies. About 20 applications in, a recruiter call woke him up and he ran a 15–20 minute screen without even knowing which company it was — and that company became one of his three final offers. Enough reps and the interview runs even half-asleep.
