To kill meetings, write an update and tag everyone instead. The most wasted hour in Big Tech is **the one where you repeat the same status update for the fifth time.** So on a weekly or monthly cadence I do this. **One**: write a post summarizing what I'm working on. **Two**: tag everyone collaborating with me. **Three**: cancel every 1:1 that was scheduled just for status sync. Meetings drop hard, and people self-serve the update rather than asking me to re-deliver it. Sometimes I cancel *all* 1:1s in a week and say *"read the post and rebook only if you still need something."* If meetings are wearing you out, try this. The effect is real.
