You don't start a channel to get famous. You start one to train expression. If I could recommend one thing to a university student, it would be starting a YouTube channel. Not to become a YouTuber. Standing in front of a camera, saying what you think, taking the reaction, and continuing past the embarrassment — that is the training. The most useful class I took in college was a presentation class, for the same reason. What compounds is the ability to express. The gap between someone who has done that a hundred times and someone who hasn't only widens.
